Ingredients
- 8 cups bone broth
- 2 tbsp fresh grated ginger root
- 2 tbsp fresh grated turmeric root I prefer the flavor of fresh, but you could use turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper Research suggests it increases the potency of the turmeric by a LOT
- 1 cup coconut milk Makes the turmeric much more bioavailable, plus it's a healthy fat
- sometimes I simmer with a piece of lemongrass 'cuz yum, and also for the anti-viral properties
Instructions
- While heating the bone broth in a pot grate in the ginger and turmeric.
- Add the pepper and coconut milk.
- Cover the pot and simmer for at least twenty minutes.
- Play with the quantities until you find how you like it best. It's loaded with anti-inflammatory properties, esp if you use a lot of turmeric and ginger so don't be shy with those ingredients!
